The LED light turns off so you know your voice assistant isn't listening.

Ready for any adventure
Sonos Roam automatically connects to your Wi-Fi network when it's in range and pairs with your phone when you walk out the door. Roam is IP67 rated that means it is completely waterproof, dustproof and has shock-resistant silicone tips to protect the speaker from drops. Enjoy up to 10 hours of music on a single charge. The speaker automatically switches to sleep mode to save power when not in use and wakes up in a second at the push of a button. When the battery is drained or if you use it mostly at home, simply charge it with the USB charging cable. Want to charge the Roam wirelessly? Then place it on a universal Qi charger or click it magnetically onto the special, optionally available, Sonos charger so that the Roam retains its compact shape.

Versatile ultra-portable design
In its vertical position, Roam takes up little space and provides room-filling sound. On uneven surfaces, place it horizontally for added stability. Its triangular shape subtly directs sound towards your ear for a better listening experience. Roam weighs just 430 grams, and its handy shape is just waiting to be picked up and carried around. If you have several Roam speakers in your home, Soundswap prevents you from carrying them around all the time. Just press and hold Roam's play/pause button to move sound to and from your nearest Sonos speaker.

Easy to set up
Turn Roam on and open the Sonos app when you're connected to your Wi-Fi network at home. The app will automatically detect the speaker and guide you through the setup process step by step. Add Sonos speakers to other rooms and enjoy music throughout the house. Use the Sonos app to group all your Sonos speakers together with Roam when streaming music with Bluetooth. Create a stereo pair with two Roam speakers in the same room and enjoy an even richer soundfield.
