Der F1-8S verfügt über eine hohe Empfindlichkeit (91 dB/W), was einen außergewöhnlichen Dynamikbereich und Kompatibilität mit einer Vielzahl von Verstärkern gewährleistet, von Single-Ended-Triodenröhrenmodellen bis hin zu Halbleiterdesigns mit höchster Leistung. Die BassTrax-Portierung und hochwertige Potentiometer-Regler für HF-Energie und Präsenz garantieren optimale Leistung unabhängig von Raumgröße oder Platzierung.
Der F1-8S wurde in der britischen Produktionsstätte von Fyne Audio entworfen, handgefertigt und von Hand fertiggestellt. Er präsentiert sich mit einer aufwendig lackierten Oberfläche aus Wurzelnussholz und setzt damit ein mutiges Statement im Lautsprecherdesign für Audiophile mit begrenztem Platzangebot.

The device is good quality and it sounds really great. But it has two issues.
You cannot switch between L/R channels. It lowers both channels volume. The issue is mentioned on FiiO website.
It has LineOut function, where device is playing on max volume and you can use your computer volume bar, but it is so loud that even on the lowest set it is screaming, so you have to choose another option and adjust volume on FiiO device instead.
I wish I knew it before buying.

Since I've moved from PC to laptop I had hard time with the sound. Both quality and volume. Fiio KA17 came as decent solution. It's really compact, easy to use and good priced. I found it a bit tricky to deal with setting on KA17, but as external audio source for headphones it shines. Sound is clear and distinctive. KA17 can drive even my Sennhieser HD598 headphones although I suppose full size earphones not the best choice for dongle. As to KZ IEM range performance is excellent.
