• EAN: 6925281937996 Er zijn twee vaak voorkomende problemen met hifi-versterkers. Klasse A, de keuze van de traditionele audiofiel, gebruikt één enkele voeding die constant op volle capaciteit draait, zelfs als er geen signaal doorkomt. Geweldig voor het reproduceren van die subtiele details op lage niveaus, maar heeft moeite om extreme kracht te leveren wanneer dat nodig is.
Klasse A/B, de meest voorkomende versterkerklasse, schakelt tussen de twee interne versterkers, één voor elke helft van de golfvorm. Veel efficiënter, maar vaak een recept voor crossover-vervorming, omdat de details op laag niveau waar we naar verlangen verloren kunnen gaan bij elke mismatch tussen de twee overschakelingen.
Klasse G is in wezen een hybride versterker, die Klasse A specifiek gebruikt voor signalen op laag niveau, maar indien nodig een extra voeding inschakelt om die grotere delen van de golfvorm van stroom te voorzien.

The device is good quality and it sounds really great. But it has two issues.
You cannot switch between L/R channels. It lowers both channels volume. The issue is mentioned on FiiO website.
It has LineOut function, where device is playing on max volume and you can use your computer volume bar, but it is so loud that even on the lowest set it is screaming, so you have to choose another option and adjust volume on FiiO device instead.
I wish I knew it before buying.

Since I've moved from PC to laptop I had hard time with the sound. Both quality and volume. Fiio KA17 came as decent solution. It's really compact, easy to use and good priced. I found it a bit tricky to deal with setting on KA17, but as external audio source for headphones it shines. Sound is clear and distinctive. KA17 can drive even my Sennhieser HD598 headphones although I suppose full size earphones not the best choice for dongle. As to KZ IEM range performance is excellent.
