De BB5 XBD-Active met dubbele kast, met zijn kenmerkende 15-inch Radial™-drivers, beschikt over een enorm reservoir aan afzonderlijk ondergebrachte vermogensversterking - meer dan 2400 W per kanaal - met 3 dB extra laagfrequente hoofdruimte vergeleken met de enkele kast BB5, en een basrespons die teruggaat tot een ontzagwekkende 17 Hz, wat zorgt voor een breder frequentiebereik dan welke andere luidspreker dan ook die we produceren. De ultrazuivere hoge tonen worden geleverd door PMC's 34 mm hoogfrequente driver en het kenmerkende middenbereik van de handgemaakte 75 mm mid-range dome-driver, zodat er goed en echt rekening wordt gehouden met microscopische details.

The device is good quality and it sounds really great. But it has two issues.
You cannot switch between L/R channels. It lowers both channels volume. The issue is mentioned on FiiO website.
It has LineOut function, where device is playing on max volume and you can use your computer volume bar, but it is so loud that even on the lowest set it is screaming, so you have to choose another option and adjust volume on FiiO device instead.
I wish I knew it before buying.

Since I've moved from PC to laptop I had hard time with the sound. Both quality and volume. Fiio KA17 came as decent solution. It's really compact, easy to use and good priced. I found it a bit tricky to deal with setting on KA17, but as external audio source for headphones it shines. Sound is clear and distinctive. KA17 can drive even my Sennhieser HD598 headphones although I suppose full size earphones not the best choice for dongle. As to KZ IEM range performance is excellent.
