Ingebouwde phonotrap en schakelbare phono/lijnuitgang
Met een slim toonarmontwerp konden we pure geluidskwaliteit combineren met een eenvoudige installatie. Ons Plug & Play-ontwerp met vooraf aangepaste volgkracht en anti-skating voor de meegeleverde Ortofon OM-cartridge heeft ons kosten bespaard en is uiterst efficiënt in gebruik voor onze klanten.
Geen compromis op het gebied van geluid: integendeel, de lichtgewicht aluminium toonarm met lage wrijving is geoptimaliseerd voor de Ortofon-cartridge en zal zijn maximale potentieel naar voren brengen. Bovendien isoleren de trillingsabsorberende voeten de draaitafel van het oppervlak waarop deze wordt geplaatst om het best mogelijke geluid te leveren. De Primary E Phono is uitgerust met een schakelbare phono/line-uitgang, zodat hij kan worden gebruikt met een speciale externe phono-voorversterker of met de geïntegreerde phono-voorversterker aangesloten op een lijningang (bijvoorbeeld AUX, CD, Tuner, Tape, etc.) . Dankzij een intelligente constructie en zonder overbodige features hebben we de prijs aantrekkelijk kunnen houden, ondanks dat dit product handgemaakt is in Europa. Zo kunnen wij onze klanten de geluidskwaliteit bieden die zij verdienen!

The device is good quality and it sounds really great. But it has two issues.
You cannot switch between L/R channels. It lowers both channels volume. The issue is mentioned on FiiO website.
It has LineOut function, where device is playing on max volume and you can use your computer volume bar, but it is so loud that even on the lowest set it is screaming, so you have to choose another option and adjust volume on FiiO device instead.
I wish I knew it before buying.

Since I've moved from PC to laptop I had hard time with the sound. Both quality and volume. Fiio KA17 came as decent solution. It's really compact, easy to use and good priced. I found it a bit tricky to deal with setting on KA17, but as external audio source for headphones it shines. Sound is clear and distinctive. KA17 can drive even my Sennhieser HD598 headphones although I suppose full size earphones not the best choice for dongle. As to KZ IEM range performance is excellent.
